  1. Open the Alexa app on your phone;
  2. Log in by entering your email and password used for your Amazon account;
  3. Press the blue icon at the bottom center of the screen (the first time you use this function, the application will ask you to authorize the application to access the microphone and the device position);
  4. When a blue bar appears at the bottom of the screen it means that Alexa is listening. At this point, you can ask what you want, like curiosity, news and much more.

The app allows you to do exactly the same things that any other owner of an Echo device would do, including controlling lights or any other compatible device you have at home, creating routines and installing specific skills to expand the potential of the virtual assistant.
