How to Use Google Assistant to Launch Siri on an iPhone
First off, you need to download the Google Assistant app on your iPhone if you do not already have it installed. You can do this by going to the App Store.
Once you have installed the app, go ahead to launch it.
In the app, tap on the visual snapshot icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. The icon looks like a partial rectangle that has lines radiating from it.
On the screen that comes up next, scroll down till you get to the “Add Ok Google To Siri” section. Now, there are times when you will see the message only after you have dismissed other notifications on the screen.
Now, tap on the “Add to Siri” option.
The page that comes up next will contain an overview of the custom phrase that will be added to Siri. From this Overview, you will understand that when you say Ok Google, it will perform the Hey Google Action. Now tap on the “Add to Siri” option.
Once you have done this, whenever you invoke Siri and say the “OK Google” command, you will get a response from Siri asking what you would like to ask Google.
Now, proceed to ask whatever you would like to ask Google and the question or command will be automatically routed to the Google Assistant app. Google Assistant will then display results on the screen once they are ready.
You can proceed to ask further questions by tapping on the microphone button in the Google Assistant app. You can also go through the first step again by invoking Siri and then saying Ok Google.
