How to Use Google Assistant to Launch Siri on iPhone

If you are an iOS user but you prefer Google Assistant to Apple’s Siri, then you can easily launch the Google Voice Assistant on your iPhone if you configure it to the Google Assistant app. In this guide, we will show you how to configure it so you can launch Google Assistant with Siri.

How to Use Google Assistant to Launch Siri on an iPhone

First off, you need to download the Google Assistant app on your iPhone if you do not already have it installed. You can do this by going to the App Store.

Once you have installed the app, go ahead to launch it.

In the app, tap on the visual snapshot icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. The icon looks like a partial rectangle that has lines radiating from it.

Now, tap on the “Add to Siri” option.

The page that comes up next will contain an overview of the custom phrase that will be added to Siri. From this Overview, you will understand that when you say Ok Google, it will perform the Hey Google Action. Now tap on the “Add to Siri” option.

Now, proceed to ask whatever you would like to ask Google and the question or command will be automatically routed to the Google Assistant app.  Google Assistant will then display results on the screen once they are ready.
