Fortunately, Google enables you to use its spell-check feature no matter where you are in the Google Chrome web browser. This guide will show you how to use Google Search’s Spell Check on Chrome on any page you are on.
This feature is known as “Enhanced Spell Check,” It enables you to use Google’s more advanced spell check whenever you are typing something on any web page.
However, before you proceed, you should note that this feature, just like most Google services, comes at a privacy cost. If you enable the “Enhanced Spell Check” feature, you agree to send everything that you type on the web to Google’s server. If you have no problem with this, you can proceed with the guide.
How to Use Google Search’s Enhanced Spell Check on All Web Pages in Chrome
First off, launch the Google Chrome browser on your Windows 10 PC, Mac, Chrome OS, or Linux computer.
Once in the browser, click the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner of the window.
Now, click the “Settings” option from the drop-down menu.
You can alternatively press the Cmd + Comma keys on your Mac or the Alt + E keys on a Windows PC. This will instantly take you to the Settings page.
Now, select the “Advanced” tab from the sidebar. This will open up a list of advanced menus. From the list, select the “Languages” menu.
Now, click the toggle next to the “Enhanced Spell Check” option under the “Spell Check” section.
It would help if you kept in mind that “Chrome’s Enhanced Spell Check will not override certain websites such as Microsoft Word’s online editor’s proprietary spell check.
