Download the Amazon Prime Video app for Android
Before you can watch Prime Video on your Android, you need to download and install the appropriate Amazon Prime Video app.

- On any Android phone or tablet, tap the Play Store icon to open it.
- Search for “Amazon Prime Video“.

Watch the Amazon Prime video offline
If you are traveling by plane or do not have access to a data connection, you can download almost all the videos included with Prime to watch them offline.
The download option is available only for Prime members who have paid for the subscription. It is not available to Amazon Household members with shared Prime benefits.
- Find the video Included with Prime you wish to download. This must be a video included with your Amazon Prime membership.
- Touch the video icon.
- Tap Download.
- Select the download quality you want. The higher the quality, the more storage space will be needed on your phone or tablet.
- When you are ready to watch, open the Prime Video app and tap the Hamburger menu, represented by three horizontal lines.
