The Huawei P Smart Plus has been launched in Europe as a rebranded Nova 3i smartphone for the European market. It comes with the notch display just like the Nova 3i as well.
The device sports four cameras overall, two at the rear and two at the notch. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Emotion 8.2 UI and powered by the new powerful Kirin 710 mid-range chipset.
Design
The P Smart Plus is covered with a combination of aluminum alloy and Polycarbonate. Both elements gave birth to this stunning twilight beauty. The dual lens rakes it’s rightful position at the top left corner.
Underneath the cameras is the LED flash, while the fingerprint scanner sits in the usual position. Turning to the sides, it measures 7.6mm in thickness and weighs 169g. It was introduced in Black and Purple.

You also get the notch here, while the entire front is exactly the same with what we saw on the Nova 3i. We can see the dual selfie shooters sitting side by side the speaker grille. The bottom chin is super minimal and tiny as well.
The 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is such a beauty to behold, it has a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 409 pixel per inch density. It has 85% NTSC, 19:9 aspect ratio and stretches up to 82.48% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Powering up the device is the new HiSilicon Kirin 710 chip from Huawei which was built on a 12nm process technology. It has an octa-core processor clocking at 2.2GHz. The ARM Mali-G51 MP4 graphics processor comes with 4-Cores and clocks 767MHz.
Multitasking shouldn’t be a problem here, there’s 4GB of RAM space available to handle all your apps. You also get 64GB storage space ready to accommodate all your files and apps. The P Smart Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Emotion 8.2 UI.
Camera
You get to explore your photography skills with four cameras here. There’s a dual 16MP + 2MP rear shooters which has f/2.2 aperture and 6P Lens. While the 24MP + 2MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture with AI beautification and Face Unlock.
Battery
Powering the Huawei P Smart Plus is a 3340mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.9 hours.
