Infinix Hot 6 Pro is the advanced version of the Hot 6 smartphone we reviewed earlier. The Hot 6 Pro sports the trending dual rear camera, bezel-less display, houses a Snapdragon chip and packs 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage space and a massive battery capacity.
This means Infinix is adopting the “Pro” format from the Note series and using it for the Hot series as well. This might as well be the end of the Lite versions on the Hot series. Without further ado, lets see what the Infinix Hot 6 Pro has to offer.

Design
Looks like the Hot 6 smartphone with the Plastic overall body that’s removable to change SIMs and memory card. Although the battery is not removable like on their predecessors. The Pro version has a rear fingerprint scanner as well, for quick access to the phone.
We have to admit, the dual rear shooters on this baby adds to the beauty at the rear. Beside the dual camera is the dual-LED flash for night photography. Turning over to the sides, the volume keys and power buttons are present as it measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 145g overall. It’s available in Sandstone Black, Magic Gold, Bordeaux Red, City Blue.
Display
This was long overdue, the Hot budget series from Infinix now has the trending Full View display. The screen dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio, with no narrow bezel in sight. The top and bottom bezel are also super minimal compared to its predecessor.
The 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is perfect for large screen lovers. Boasting of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution and 282 pixel per inch density, while the screen stretches up to 76.1% screen to body ratio. When in landscape mode, you should enjoy your movies and games in nice quality.

In the graphics department, the Adreno 308 graphics processor from Qualcomm is in charge.
The Hot 6 Pro packs a bigger 3GB RAM space for multitasking, which is perfect for its latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It’s memory speed should be much faster than the Hot 6 as well. There’s a bigger 32GB storage space to accommodate all files and apps, you can upgrade up to 128GB anytime you want.
Camera
For photography, the 13MP rear shooter now has a 2MP companion to help in autofocus and portrait modes. But don’t get too excited though, they will both perform like the typical 13MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Take selfies all day with the 5MP selfie camera and record videos of 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Nice post on Infinix Hot 6 Pro
Infinix can make their phones much better by adding infrared
This phone is not compatible with fast charging.
I tried with Qualcomm QC2.0 and QC3.0 chargers and both took more than 3 hours to charge it.
(The chargers are fine, I tried them with Galaxy S7, fast charging worked perfectly)
Infinix really changed their game by adding a Snapdragon Chipset here
Snapdragon 425? I’ll rather pick a Mediatek Helio X10 to that. Putting a Snapdragon 425 into a 2018 smartphone that’s a total let down, if you’re sticking to a particular price frame than Snapdragon is not the processor for y’all, Snapdragon 425 is around $200 and the Helio X10 is below $160. Stick with what you’re used to, y’all ain’t ready for change.
