Design

Infinix Hot 6

Infinix definitely loves Plastic when it comes to designing their devices, the Hot 6 sports the same Plastic body as seen on the Hot 5. Although the Hot 6 looks different, thanks to the dual rear shooters. While the dual-LED flash sits beside the cameras.

The cameras are now at the top left corner in a horizontal position, instead of the trending vertical way. The fingerprint scanner is in its usual position no doubt and ready to unlock the device in 0.1s. It measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 145g overall. As usual, you can get it in Sandstone Black, Magic Gold, Bordeaux Red, City Blue.

Display

The first thing you’ll notice at the front is the major reduction in bezels, the narrow bezels are almost non-existent as well. The screen dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio, making it the first Hot budget series with the feature.

The 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen offers Infinix users the Full View experience. Boasting of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution and 282 pixel per inch density, while the screen stretches up to 76.1% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software

The Hot 6 houses the Snapdragon 425 chip from Qualcomm with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor here reaches a clock speed of 1.4GHz with 28nm process technology. While the Adreno 308 handles graphics.

Just like the Hot 5, the same 2GB RAM is available for multitasking with a memory speed of 667MHz. For storage, the same 16GB storage space is available to accommodate all files and apps. You can upgrade up to 128GB as well, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with XOS 3.0 Hummingbird.

Camera

Enjoy twice the fun here with the dual 13MP + 2MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The 2MP shooter should help in focusing and doing portrait modes as well. The Infinix Hot 6 should be able to record videos of 1080p at 30fps. While the 5MP selfie camera should capture stunning selfies as well.

  1. I just bough mine (hot 6, 2GB RAM) The battery is very good and d camera quite superb. Also, it charges fast, like an hour and some minutes to full. But then it doesnt show the apps i transfer when i check them in my FILE MANAGER. Once i delete any app i transfer, i can reinstall from the file manager.
