Infinix Note 4 Pro vs Tecno Camon CX – Device Comparison
Here is a table of contents to make it easier for you to breeze through the article. Click on any of them to jump to the content:
Display & Design
The design language of the Tecno Camon series was changed this year, and I daresay it’s for the better; otherwise, the Camon CX wouldn’t stand a chance against the Note 4 Pro in terms of design. The presence of the front camera at the centre of the top bezel makes it look different from other smartphones
The presence of the front camera at the centre of the top bezel makes it look different from other smartphones. The Note 4 Pro, on the other hand, features a physical home button beneath the display at the front, and two capacitive buttons depicted by dots on either side of it. I can’t really say which one nails it in terms of design.
In the aspect of display, the Note 4 Pro has a 5.7-inch screen made with the same technology as the Camon CX’s 5.5-inch display. The respective screen sizes are the trademarks of the corresponding series, so we can’t judge which is better based on the display size. Both have Full HD (1920 * 1080) pixel resolution and the Camon CX has a 400ppi pixel density while the Note 4 Pro has an 85% NTSC colour gamut.
Performance & Storage
This is where things get interesting. The Camon CX uses a CPU containing a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor and Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, which is more advanced than the Note 4 Pro’s CPU which contains an octa-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 processor and Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. Thus, the Camon CX excels in terms of CPU architecture.
Move to storage and memory, however, and it’s the Note 4 Pro’s turn to shine. It has 3GB of RAM compared to the Camon CX’s 2GB RAM, and comes with double of the CX’s 16GB internal storage capacity. For those looking to multitask effectively and store files with large sizes, the Note 4 Pro might just be the right phone for you.
Camera
The camera department is the forte of the Tecno Camon series, so don’t expect to see any Infinix! hailings here. The Tecno Camon CX sports 16MP cameras at the rear and front, superseding the Note 4 Pro which sports a 13MP camera at the rear and an 8MP camera at the front.
The Quad-LED flash system at the rear of the Camon CX is clearly superior to the Dual LED flash at the Note 4 Pro’s rear, and a single LED flash supporting the Note 4 Pro’s selfie camera surely can’t be brighter than the dual LED flash at the front of the Camon CX.
Battery & Charging
Look at the heading; it’s the Note 4 Pro’s turn to shine! Big batteries are a legacy of the Infinix Note series, and the Infinix Note 4 Pro doesn’t disappoint with a 4500mAh Li-Po battery and XCharge 4.0 fast charging technology which gives you a full charge in 30 minutes.
The Camon CX comes with an average battery capacity of 3200mAh and 10W fast charging which makes the charging process a bit faster.
Software & Hardware
Both smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, but each has its own peculiar UI flavour from the manufacturer. The Note 4 Pro has XOS 2.2 which offers split-screen views and more fingerprint functions.
The Camon CX, on the other hand, has HiOS 2.0 which offers pretty much the same thing. The difference is in the navigation and customisable features each has to offer. You choose what works for you.
Both smartphones feature fingerprint sensors, but the Note 4 Pro has an edge over the Camon CX with the Xpen which has many customizable features.
Both smartphones are made to cater for different categories of consumers, and each has its own area of uniqueness. The Camon CX is slimmer, lighter and takes clearer pictures, while the Note 4 Pro has a clearer display, lasts longer and charges faster. You choose what works for you.
I Prefer the Camon CX but due to the battery I will go for the infimx note 4.
Camon CX should tried to upgrade their battery. because any nice feature any andriod smart phone can offer without a long lasting battery doesn’t make sense.
Bonsoir à vous, j’ai une plainte que faire
Bien vouloir le laisser tomber ici
Splendid post, does the camoncx have a split screen also.
Yes, it has
The two phones is good but I am upset in CX is that it didn’t come with long lasting battery .I need a phone like CX that have long lasting battery good ram like 3or 4ram and 32gb memory. Can I get such? And also the infinix is OK although I don’t no things about phones I love the two phones the phone my mind is still in is CX due to the camera but let they improve in the battery by putting 4500or 5000pls
It is now left for the two companies to take action based on the customers needs. I want use this opportunity to inform the two manufactures to be one of their MAJOR Distributors in Nigeria. Both smartphones are very good.
