The Infinix Note 5 Pro is the advanced version of the Infinix Note 5 we reported earlier. The Note 5 Pro is also known as the Note 5 Stylus coming with the X-Pen which can be pulled out from the device’s body anytime you want.
Internally, Infinix topped it up a notch, it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage space with support for VR and AR. The Snapdragon 625 chip from Qualcomm now does the job underneath with 8-cores of the processor and AI-powered dual rear cameras.
Design
The Note 5 Pro comes with a glossy back, this reflects light beautifully and you can also see the reflection of your face when you look at it. The fingerprint scanner is still available in the usual position, same with the Infinix logo.
There will be dual rear cameras according to the teaser above which reads “Coming Soon”, with the “oo” looking like two cameras. It measures 8.4 mm in thickness and weighs 173g overall. It will also be available in Black, Blue and Grey colors.
Display
It has the same 18:9 aspect ratio screen just like the Note 5 with super minimal bezels. However, the screen has been increased by 2-inch for big screen lovers. This will give you wider angles in landscape mode as well.
You get a tall 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display clear visuals. The screen has 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 402 pixels per inch density. The full view display stretches up to 78% of the entire front.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 625 chip from Qualcomm takes control with its 14nm FinFET process technology. It has an octa-core processor that clocks up to 2GHz as well, while the Adreno 506 graphics processor handles graphics.
There’s 4GB of RAM space available with a memory speed of 1866MHz. According to a source, there might also be a version with 6GB RAM as well. It has a standard 64GB storage space, but you can upgrade up to 128GB with a memory card. The Infinix Note 5 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Stock Android.
Camera
This will be the first Note Phablet from Infinix to come with dual rear shooters. It sports dual 12MP + 5MP cameras, these have f/2.0 aperture, 1.25 μm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture, 1.20um pixel size respectively. The cameras on this beauty are driven by AI, so expect portrait mode, beautify and other features. The 16MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture as well and supports Face ID.
Battery
Powering the Infinix Note 5 Pro is a 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.4 hours.
