Infinix mobility has just announced a new device to the note series. The new phone is the Infinix Note 8 and it comes with impressive camera setup and bigger screen size and a massive battery. This new phone is the successor of the Note 7 that was announced around April this year.
Design And Display
The Infinix Note 8 packs an amazing body design that is wrapped with a combination of glass and plastic. The front side has a corning gorilla glass while the panel is built with plastic. On the panel, it houses the cameras and the Infinix logo with an LED flash. The smartphone measures 175.3 x 78.8 x 9 mm in dimensions.
On the front, it comes with a large display size of 6.95 inches under the IPS LCD touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 1640 pixels and 258 PPI density. It also features display protection and has an 83.0% screen-to-body ratio.

On the camera aspect, the Infinix Note 8 has an impressive shooter of 64 MP wide paired with other cameras such as 2 MP macro, another 2 MP depth sensor, and lastly is 2 MP lens. The cameras have a quad-LED flash for bright photos, HDR, panorama and can record 1440p@30fps videos. There is a wide hole on the front and its housing a combo cameras of 16 MP and 2 MP with a dual-LED flash.
Powering the smartphone is a Mediatek Helio G80 chipset built on a 12nm process node and an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55. Note 8 has Mali-G52 MC2 for graphics and it runs on the Android 10 operating system with XOS 7.1 on top.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
The inbuilt memory is a generous 128GB and 6GB RAM for a smooth performance. You can also expand the storage using a micro SDcard up to 128GB. The sensors on the Infinix Note 8 are Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Battery Power And Network Connectivity
Booting the smartphone is a nonremovable battery of 5200 mAh and the battery has support for fast charging technology. The device has dual SIM and 4G networks as usual. Other connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS, FM radio and USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go.
