Infinix mobility has finally announced the Infinix Smart 5 which is the successor of the Smart 4 Plus smartphone. It comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery and triple rear cameras.
Design And Display
The Infinix Smart 5, as usual, is built with all plastic on the back and panel to maintain the budget price tag. It also has a smooth panel that is housing the fingerprint scanner, an LED flash, and cameras. It has body dimensions of 165.4 x 73.4 x 8.8 mm and its available in multiple colors shades.
The Infinix Smart 5 has a waterdrop notch that offers a large screen size of 6.6 inches under the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, and 266 PPI density. It reaches 86.6% screen-to-body ratio and there is also glass protection.

The cameras set up on the Smart 5 includes a 13 MP snapper, a VGA macro snapper and another VGA for depth sensor. The camera has some internal features like LED flash and can also shoot 1080p@30fps videos. The front camera of 8 MP has dual LED flash and can record the same 1080p@30fps video quality.
Hardware And Sofware
On the hardware, the Infinix Smart 5 has a Mediatek chipset that makes use of an octa-core processor handling its assignment at a speed of 1.8 GHz. It runs on Go Edition based on the Android 10 operating system.
It comes in two storage units. The standard model has 32GB with 2GB RAM while the bigger model has up to 64GB plus and 3GB RAM. You can still expand the storage via a micro SDcard. The sensors on the phone are Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, and proximity.
