The InnJoo Fire Plus is the recently launched budget friendly smartphone from InnJoo Mobile. It is the latest addition to the InnJoo Fire smartphones family – InnJoo Fire, and InnJoo Fire Pro, it was launched alongside the InnJoo Halo in the InnJoo’s launch event in Lagos where may gifts were given out to attendants. The smartphone is an upgrade of both the InnJoo Fire and InnJoo Fire Pro, another budget smartphone that launched about some months ago.
InnJoo Fire Plus comes in more power in a beautiful slim edge and curved arc of the back shell, it ensures the phone has a slim visual effect and comfortable hold feeling. InnJoo Fire Plus comes with a great display, now boasting of 5.5-inch, an awesome processor, massive camera, battery and RAM.
The Design
InnJoo Fire Plus is slimmer and lighter than its predecessors. It shaved more than a millimetre off the thickness of the InnJoo Fire. However, despite being sleek, the Fire Plus is in no way fragile. It exhibits a profile that measures a dimension of just 153 x 77.5 x 9.3mm and weighs only 165g.
InnJoo Fire Pro sports a 5.5inch HD IPS display with 5 points Capacitive Touch Screen Full Lamination and offers 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Its IPS technology features a display density of 267ppi, 800:1 contrast, 460cd/m², GFF full lamination, clear visual effect even under strong outdoor lighting conditions. This means you are in for decently enjoyable viewing experience on the device.
Camera and Storage
The camera is also getting a bump with a 13 megapixels camera on the back. This will ensure great quality photos on the InnJoo Fire Plus. The front facing camera retains 5 megapixels for selfies and wefies. Interestingly, InnJoo Mobile provides dual LED flash and autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, 88° wide angle, sharp pictures in dim light condition for the main camera.
It says both cameras are designed to enable users take great images even in dimly-lit environment. Ample storage of 16 GB is available on the smartphone, with this being expandable by up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot.
Processor, RAM and Other Features
Fire Plus’s 32-bit MT6592M processor features eight Cortex-A7 cores which delivers a consistent performance while low consumption. It makes a easy and fast heavy 3D games or multi-task situation experience.
Under the hood, InnJoo Fire Plus carries a Quad-Core processor clocking up to 1.4 GHz (1.4 GHz for 3G version and 1.0 GHz for LTE version respectively). RAM of 2 GB means that this device is capable of delivering a level of performance that will be more satisfactory to users who leave many apps opens at the same time.
Fire Plus LTE guarantees you a fluid user experience for its equipped with a 32-bit quad-core CPU and improved Mali-T720 GPU, which expresses video playback smoothly. Speedy LTE connection up to 150Mbps download speed takes you surfing in the internet high-way.
The InnJoo Fire Plus runs on both Android 4.4 Kitkat and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system (Lollipop for LTE verison while Kitkat for its 3G version), making it probably the first phone from its maker to run on that software version (Lollipop).
