Design & Display
Being a low-end smartphone, the smartphone uses a plastic material as its covering. The smartphone weighs a not so large 154 g and comes in just Black color. At the fore, the smartphone’s screen is made up of thick bezels at the top and the bottom while the side bezels aren’t very thick. The top bezel houses the front camera, earpiece and the light sensor while the base bezel contains the soft Android navigation keys. Dedicated keys on the smartphone – volume keys and power button are situated at the right side.

At the back, the smartphone has the single camera and the LED flash support. The 3.5 mm audio jack takes the top location of the device while the micro USB port takes the bottom location. The smartphone’s dimensions are 5.65 in length x 2.83 in width x 0.37 in thickness.
The display section has a 5.0-inch TFT screen. This TFT screen uses a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels for clarity of screen. On the other hand, the pixel density pegs 196 PPI. Other features of this display are 67% screen-to-body ratio, 24 bit color depth, 16 million display colors and multi-touch input.
Camera
The rear camera has a 5 megapixel sensor for taking pictures. It has a single LED flash to add brightness in low light conditions. The front camera uses a low 2 MP sensor for taking selfies. No flash is supported at the front. Features of the camera include auto focus, touch focus, continuous shot, geo tagging, panorama and exposure compensation.
CPU, OS & Storage
Irbis SP510 has within itself the Spreadtrum SC7731C as its chipset. Together with this chipset, an ARM Cortex-A7 works as the processor. This CPU has four cores to its name, and these four cores clock at 1.20 GHz speed. The ARM Cortex-A7 is of the 32-bit architecture, and it utilizes the 28 nm process technology. ARM Mali-400 acts as the GPU of the smartphone. Android Nougat OS serves as the smartphone’s software. The RAM on the smartphone has a 1 GB size while the ROM pegs 8 GB in capacity. This internal storage can expand to 32 GB with the aid of a MicroSD card.
Battery
Irbis SP510 uses a removable Li-Ion battery of 2,000 mAh capacity.
