Basically, the KingWear GV68 is a very colourful smartwatch. Upon unboxing, you will be greeted by the main rectangular body of the smartwatch without the strap. The strap has been detached and arranged separately in a different compartment, but all in the same box.

PROCESSOR, OS & STORAGE

20170516164528 86008 696x487

The KingWear GV68 smartwatch is powered by a MediaTek MTK2502D processor. This processor is quite okay for this smartwatch but what I really get displeased by is the tiny dedicated 32MB internal memory (ROM). These days, where images, videos and other multimedia are preferred in high quality, one would begin to wonder how much data 32MB can keep. The 32MB of RAM does not do much appealing. You may witness slow processing of data whenever the multiple processes are being run on the device simultaneously. May not be the perfect smartwatch for heavy multitasking.

Proprietary Operating System

On the KingWear GV68 smartwatch, there is no dedicated operating system. You are given total freedom and liberty to sync either the Android OS or the iOS on the smartwatch as it has the capacity to run on both OS.

However, KingWear states that for excellent functioning, Android 4.4 or above and iOS 8.0 are best suited.

BATTERY

The KingWear GV68 smartwatch has an impressive battery life. A 360mAh Li-polymer battery which takes at least 3 hours to get fully charged and thereafter lasts for almost 7 days when on standby mode.
