HP is a well-established brand in the computing world. So, it is no surprise when they release one particular laptop with various configurations. The HP Stream 14-ax010nr is one of the several configurations of the Stream 14 model. It has a 14-inch display and some other interesting features.
Design
The HP Stream 14-ax010nr is a finely designed laptop with a thin body and weighing about 3 pounds. This laptop is an all-plastic one that gives it a cheap look. This device is comfortable to grip with its chamfered edges.

Display
As the name suggests and as has been stated already, the HP Stream 14-ax010nr has a 14-inch display. The display, however, isn’t the best out there as should be expected for a budget device.
Keyboard and Touchpad
This ultrabook comes with a simple keyboard and touchpad combination for easy use. You should note however that since this is a 14-incher, it becomes difficult for it to come with a numeric keypad; hence, the lack thereof.
Performance
Running the show for the HP Stream 14-ax010nr is an Intel Celeron N3060 clocked at 1.6GHz. This CPU is paired with an Intel HD Graphics 400 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. While the CPU is entry-level, it nonetheless performs well when running basic tasks. However, if you plan on running heavy applications like graphics intensive games, you need to look elsewhere.
Windows 10 Home OS is preinstalled on this laptop for an excellent software experience. This is seemingly an advantage over other laptops in the same price category (usually Chromebooks).
Battery Life
The HP Stream 14-ax010nr performs moderately well on battery life, lasting for about 8 hours on average. This is possible because of the 3-cell 41 Whr battery that comes with the laptop.
Connectivity
The Stream 14 houses an HDMI port as well as two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports. The usual 3.5mm headphone jack is also included.
Since the internal storage is only 32GB with only about 16GB available for use, there is a microSD slot for storage expansion via microSD card. Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi are also included in the package.

Conclusion
While this isn’t the most promising of ultrabooks, the Stream 14-ax010nr does the job for you. However, trying to push it beyond its limits shows its inefficiency in handling serious tasks.
Coming in a nice-looking package with subpar internals, the HP Stream 14 is a worthy competitor for the bevy of Chromebooks already filling the entry-level segment.
