LG K10 (2017) with 13MP cameras & SOS Button launched in India – Full Specifications and Price

Towards the end of 2016, LG announced five devices in preparation for the CES 2017 event, which are; the K3, K4, K8, K10 and Stylus 3. Now the electronics giant has officially launched the LG K10 (2017) at an event in India.

The LG K10 2017 is a mid-range smartphone which (thankfully) runs on Android 7.0 Nougat along with some other reasonable specs. The only problem I have with it is its battery capacity.

LG K10 (2017) Specifications, Review and Highlights

Display, Design & Battery

The LG K10 2017 comes with a 5.3-inch In-cell Touch IPS display which is covered with 2.5D Arc Glass and has an HD (1280 * 720) pixel resolution. It packs a 2800mAh removable battery which can last the average user for more than half of a day.

Storage & Processor

The K10 (2017) is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor which has a speed of 1.5GHz, and a Mali T860 GPU handles all graphics operations in the phone. It has 2GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB internal memory variants, both of which can be expanded up to 2 Terabytes with a microSD card.

Camera

The K10 sports a 13MP camera with a LED flash at the rear, and a 5MP camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens at the front for taking selfies.

Software, Hardware & Connectivity

The smartphone supports 4G LTE network connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS, and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The LG K10 was launched under the ‘Made in India’ initiative and features an SOS function which allows you to make a call to India’s emergency number 112 by pressing the phone’s power button thrice or tapping on the SOS option in the phone’s menu.
