Mega-leak reveals all the news of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

We have already spoken many times about Samsung’s new wearable at Leak. The name we already revealed, Galaxy Watch 3. A kind of combination between Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 2018. Now a mega-leak of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has revealed all the news and it looks like we will have a super smartwatch but that in some things it may not be so different from the Watch Active 2.

The Galaxy Watch 3 will arrive in two different sizes. The 45mm model is capable of integrating a 1.4-inch screen into a body that is 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 mm. I remember that the previous 46mm model had a 1.3-inch panel. The 41mm version of the Galaxy Watch 3 is also smaller and thinner than the 42mm Galaxy Watch. However, the 1.2-inch screen remains.

The Galaxy Watch 3 will bring the rotating bezel to life again, which is extremely practical and should be slightly smaller than the one present in the Galaxy Watch. I remember that Watch Active 2 replaced this hardware-based functionality with a software alternative.

However, there are also elements in common with models from the past. One concerns battery life. Still, nothing is known about the processor. It will eventually be able to further improve efficiency. We will have 247 and 340mAh batteries in the 41 and 45 mm versions of the Galaxy Watch 3, respectively.

In some elements, the new bet is no different from the Galaxy Watch Active 2.

We have a heart rate sensor with high precision that counts with the help of 8 photodiodes and support for monitoring blood pressure. We also have the possibility to make electrocardiograms. I just hope it doesn’t happen with Watch Active 2 which also supports them but we haven’t seen anything yet.

We don’t know if Samsung is working on other additional health-related features on the new Galaxy Watch 3. What is known is that memory and storage will jump from 768MB and 4GB to 1 and 8 GB.

Meanwhile, optional support for LTE stands out, as well as GPS functionality, IP68 water resistance, MIL-STD-810G resistance, and Gorilla Glass DX screen protection. However, unlike the information circulating on the Internet, nothing has been revealed about an aluminum model, with stainless steel and titanium.
