One big advantage about Motorola’s budget smartphones is their design and build quality. They offer very decent design for a budget phone. And it’ll be hardly anyone to know they’re budget phones by looking at its design. The Motorola Moto E5 and Moto G6 looks similar at the front, with the only difference being the home button featured on the Moto G6. The home button of the Moto G6 houses its fingerprint sensor. While the fingerprint sensor of the Moto E5 is mounted inside the Motorola logo at the back.

The Moto G6 features a back and front glass with aluminum frame. The back is a 3D curved glass, which reflects light gorgeously. While the Moto E5 features a front glass and plastic body, which has an aluminum coating giving it that shiny look. The Motorola Moto E5 despite being smaller in height is actually thicker and heavier than the Moto G6. The Moto E5 measures 9mm thick and weighs 174 grams. While the Moto G6 weighs 167 grams and a slimmer 8.3mm thickness.

The Moto G6 is splash resistant, meaning it can survive splashes of water or dust. While the Moto E5 isn’t splash resistant. The Moto G6 offers four body colors option; Deep Indigo, Silver, Blush and Black. While the Moto E5 offers just two body colors option; Flash gray and Fine Gold.
