New render reveals Xiaomi Mi 7 without a lower bezel

2018 has begun with much speculation about new releases of Xiaomi smartphones. It’s just going into hundreds of technology pages and finding leaks about the next Mi 7or the Mi Max 3. To place the cherry on the cake, another event is approaching, such as the MWC 2018, which promises to be a dream come true for many Android enthusiasts, as many smartphone manufacturers will show their latest and best incorporation at the international exhibition. Better news? This year we can add our favorite brand, Xiaomi, to that list. The company plans to use a global stage like this to showcase their Xiaomi Mi 7.

The Xiaomi Mi 7, the most anticipated flagship

The CEO of Xiaomi has already revealed his intentions to equip the 2018 flagship with the Snapdragon 845 chip. But, surprisingly, very little is known about the physical aspect of the phone.

Fortunately, there are some renders that have appeared in the past, but another render of the device has recently been found. Days before, we saw just a look at the back of the device. But that is not enough for us. So today’s filtered image shows a front that looks like a flipped version of the Mi MIX 2 design. Therefore, the upper bezel would be present, while the lower part is completely free of frames.

If this design of the Mi 7 turns out to be true, I could place it some points on the Mi MIX 2 because the upper bezel houses some sensors that are vital, although it still looks very thin. Not only that, if this filtering is accurate, it could surpass Mi MIX 2 in screen-body relation.

Also, the rendering of the Xiaomi Mi 7 also shows a dual rear camera configuration and a fingerprint reader on the back. The Mi 7 would have the AI capability to deliver stellar photographs as part of the company’s goal of focusing on AI in 2024.

In general, for new smartphones on the way, the MWC 2018 promises to be a show that we can not wait to see. We look forward to Xiaomi offering an impressive design in the exhibition.
