Nokia 5.1 Plus, new renderings online. NCC certification for a variant of Nokia X6

HMD Global, the Finnish company that develops phones under the brand name “Nokia”, is currently engaged in the distribution of Nokia 2 (2018), Nokia 3 (2018) and Nokia 5 (2018), just launched on world markets. However, online the first renderings emerged concerning the Nokia 5.1 Plus. But it is not the only news – the global variant of the Nokia X6, (the smartphone that debuted in China last month, ed) with the model number TA-1103 has received the NCC certification.

According to the images released by the OnLeaks and Tiger Mobiles sites, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will come with a display with very thin frames and with lots of “notch”. On the back, the renderings show a double configuration of the rear camera together with an LED flash. Also on the back side, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will also have a fingerprint sensor. In addition, there also seems to be a USB Type-C port, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack located on the top of the phone.

At first glance, it seems that the new Nokia phone will be a sort of “update” compared to the existing model.

In addition to renderings that affect the Nokia 5.1 Plus, HMD Global is providing the implementation of the global variant of the Nokia X6. This new handset, with the model number TA-1103, received the NCC certification in Taiwan. The list on the NCC website, as noted by DealInTech, does not reveal anything about the specifications and more generally about the characteristics of the device. However, it is worth noting that the same model received the Bluetooth certification last month that confirmed several aspects already emerged in some previous “leak”.

At the end of last month, HMD Global hosted an event in Moscow for the launch of Nokia 2 (2018), Nokia 3 (2018) and Nokia 5 (2018). The new phones are the successors of Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 launched last year. Nokia 3 (2018) and Nokia 5 (2018) are part of Google’s Android One program, while Nokia 2 (2018) runs Android Oreo (Go edition).
