Nubia Mobile has released a lower variant of the nubia M2 smartphone in India. The smartphone is dubbed the nubia M2 Lite and has hit the mobile market in India just months after we saw the same device launch in China.
The M2 Lite features top-notch specifications that would make any tech-savvy person cast an admiring eye on it, contrary to what you might want to think considering the ‘Lite’ naming convention.

Display & Design
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 * 720 (HD). Its display is further strengthened by a 2.5D curved glass, although having Corning Gorilla Glass protection would have made the setup just perfect.
The nubia M2 Lite features the same impressive design as the nubia M2. It possesses a metal unibody design which is further beautified by its Black Gold coating. It also sports a physical home button at the bottom of the display.
Storage & Processor
The M2 Lite features a 4GB RAM with an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It operates on an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with speed of 1.5GHz and its graphics are duly handled by a Mali T860 GPU.
Camera
The front camera should be the first to talk about; a 16MP selfie shooter is present to add gloss to your selfie experience. It has a f/2.0 aperture with 5P lens and a 79.8-degree wide-angle lens that allows your selfies cover more persons. The front camera is also gifted with soft flash that brightens your selfies even in the ‘darkest’ of places. The rear camera has a 13MP camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture.
Battery & Connectivity
The nubia M2 Lite comes with a 3000mAh phone battery that can give you a whole day’s return on average use. The device provides a dual Nano SIM slot although the second SIM slot is a hybrid one, meaning that you have to decide between placing a microSD card in it or using a second SIM card. The device also offers support for 4G LTE networks.
Software & Hardware
The smartphone possesses a fingerprint sensor which takes just 0.15 seconds to unlock your phone. The sensor is embedded in its physical home button.
The nubia M2 Lite runs on a custom Nubia UI 4.0 which is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
