OPPO has launched a new smartphone, the Oppo A79 which is the second phone from the company to feature a full display, after it debuted on the OPPO F5. OPPO is known for smartphones that highlight its impressive camera setup, and on the mid-range OPPO A79, the firm continued to stoke the flames of its reputation as a camera phone brand. Display
The OPPO A79 features a large 6.01-inch full AMOLED screen AMOLED. The FHD+(2160*1080 pixels) display comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and renders a very vivid display as it comes with 401ppi of pixel density. The screen alone sits on up to 86% of the device.

Design
The device sports a metal unibody design which will dorn Champagne, Black and Ice Flame blue hues. The smartphone sports a slim waistline that can fit seamlessly into your palm or pocket and it weighs just 140g. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Storage & Processor
Under the hood, the OPPO A79 is powered by a 2.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6763T processor along with Mali-G71 GPU that operates on the graphics. The chipset offers a high performance in operations and should be able to handle whatever game or app is thrown at it as well as multitask with ease. The device carries 4GB of RAM and a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB using a MicroSD.

The smartphone sports Dual 16MP cameras. On the rear, top-left corner precisely sits a 16MP shooter with a bright F/1.8 Aperture that captures plenty of light and a Flashlight that ensures your photos remain bright even in low-light conditions. The front flaunts a similar 16MP camera as the rear, the only difference being that it sports a less-bright F/2.0 Aperture. The OPPO A79 is powered to life by a non-removable 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging via OPPO’s VOOC flash charge. Connectivity options include; Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Micro USB, fingerprint sensor, OTG support, 4G LTE.
Software

Availability and Price of OPPO A79
The OPPO A79 is priced at 2399 Yuan in China and sales start 1st of December. The device is however presently available for pre-order from the manufacturer’s website.
