The second quarter of 2019 will be the period to make the Oppo A7n come alive. Right now as this review is being compiled, Oppo has not announced that this phone will be released but there is enough information available now to understand the makeup of the device.
We now know that the A7n will come with Android Oreo, dual rear camera, good battery, and a good enough display features which we shall examine below. In this review we will endeavor to check out the salient features of the smartphone and see how lovely they are for savvy phone users.
Design and Display
The Oppo A7n device comes in a ceramic body design. The dimensions and the weight specs are not specified yet. The sleek device comes only in gold color. It is a fingerprint-enabled device that comes without waterproof option. However, there is face recognition in the setup of the device.
At the display is a 6.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive multitouch screen device which comes without a secondary display but with display protection. Other good display features are 1520 x 720 pixels in resolution, 16 million display colors, 271 pixels per inch, 2.5D curved screen, Corning Gorilla Glass, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a host of other good features.
Camera Features
There are three cameras in the Oppo A7n; one to the front, two to the back. At the rear are 13MP and another lens which come with LED flash. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is 16 MP which comes without flash option. Video resolution is 1080p.
Other nice camera options are auto focus, EIS, self-timer, touch focus, panorama, HDR, scene mode, and others as well.
Hardware and Software
As mentioned above, the Oppo A7n is functioning with the help of Android OS v8.1 Oreo which operates on Color OS 5.2 interface. Also, the chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 working with 14nm process technology and 64-bit architecture. The CPU is Octa-core, while the GPU is Qualcomm Adreno.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Oppo A7n is blessed with 4GB of RAM that cannot be expanded. The internal storage of 64GB can be expanded to 256GB with a microSD card. Sensors are up to five in the device and they are accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, compass, and fingerprint.
Network and Connectivity
Connectivity of the phone is 4G and that means it is also able to work with 2G, 3G as well for internet connection. This is a certified 4G phone working with GSM, HSPA, and LTE. It also makes use of two nano SIM slots to enable smooth activity.
Other nice connectivity components in the phone are Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, headphone jack, USB type c, v2.0 on the go. Sure enough, there is NFC, but no infrared or HDMI in the device.
Battery Power
Powering the Oppo A7n is a Li-Po 4230 mAh un-removable battery which comes without wireless charging but with fast charging option. Talk time and standby time are also not specified yet.
Price and Availability
Officially, the price of Oppo A7n is approximately not known yet. This device is available towards the middle or the end of second quarter of 2019 and buyers can at that time find it on shopping stores online.
