OPPO R9S Plus is a sibling of the sleek OPPO R9S and both smartphones were unveiled together recently. The new model just like the R9S features a couple of awesome upgrades but retains the essence of the device, a powerful enough processor, powerful cameras, battery and a large display size.
The OPPO R9S Plus comes with the same design as the OPPO R9S but packs a bigger size than the R9S. Aside from the phablet-sized display, the OPPO R9S Plus is essentially similar to the R9S. The device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset clocked at 1.95GHz which offers a 10% higher performance than the Snapdragon 652 SoC.
Chinese phone makers seem to have pitched their tents on 6GB RAM on flagships and the R9S Plus didn’t come with anything less. The device packs a 6GB RAM as well as 64gB of storage which can be expanded up to 128GB.
On the camera aspect, the OPPO R9S Plus packs a superb 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, OIS and LED flash at the rear. There is also a 16MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The device also supports 4K video shooting, slo-mo videos and more.
In addition, the OPPO R9S Plus cram a massive 4000mAh battery under its hood which is large enough to power the device for more than one day. The device also carries the VOOC fast charging technology that OPPO is renowned for. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Color OS 3.0. There is also a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, VoLTE, fingerprint sensor and lots more on the device.

As for the price, the OPPO R9S Plus carries a huge price tag of 3499 Yuan ($520 USD) and will go on sale sometime in December.
