The handset was officially launched in India alongside the Oppo Realme 2 Pro which comes with a huge RAM and abundance inbuilt memory. Both phones come with a notch in a unique way and they also maintain a dual camera setup with a large screen display. Noticeable on both phones is the presence of metal and plastic on their body. They are affordable mid-range devices that’s why they feature the plastic on the body. The Oppo Realme C1 has body dimensions of 75.6 mm x 156.2 mm x 8.2 mm and it weighs 168 gram, while the Oppo Realme 2 Pro has body dimensions of 74 mm x 156.69 mm x 8.5 mm and weighs 174 gram. Both phones almost pack the same body design and the Oppo Realme 2 Pro is the only one to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and they both are available in Black and Blue colors.

The Oppo Realme 2 Pro has a large screen size of 6.3-inches FHD+ with Notch and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 Pixels. The handset has a higher pixel per inch density of 409 PPI with a 2.5D curved glass and a corning gorilla glass 3 as well.  Both phones have an IPS, LCD capacitive touchscreen with a higher screen to body ratio, but the Oppo Realme 2 Pro has a higher screen to body ratio and the sharp density means clear visuals than the later.

The Oppo Realme C1 has a 13 Megapixels + 2 Megapixels on the back with an LED flash and a front facing camera of 5 Megapixels with F2.2 Aperture, and Face Recognition features. On the Oppo Realme 2 Pro, you will get combo rear cameras as well. The phone has rear cameras of 13 Megapixels f/1.7, 1.254μm + 2 Megapixels with 4K videos shooting and an LED flash. For selfies, the phone has 16 Megapixels with F2.0 Aperture, and Face Recognition feature up front. The Oppo Realme 2 Pro is also winning on the camera aspect.

When it comes to performance, the Oppo Realme C1 is equipped with an average Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 with an octa-core processor that clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz.  It has 2GB of RAM with internal memory of 16GB which you can also expand with micro SD card. On the Oppo Realme 2 Pro, you will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which is faster and it runs at a speed of 2.2GHz. Both are built with 14nm process technology and they are powered by Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. On the memory, the Oppo Realme 2 Pro has inbuilt storage of 64GB +4GB and 128GB + 6GB RAM which you can also expand with micro SD card.

Our Verdict:

The Oppo Realme 2 Pro is no doubt the beast of the Oppo Realme C1 smartphone. Apart from the phone beautiful body design, it also has a capable hardware on the inside that will ensure smooth performance.
The Oppo Realme C1 is only but an affordable mid-range device that can only handle any low demanding task and other days to day phones activities. The phone packs a massive battery capacity which gives it an edge over its rival.
