[Below $80] Oukitel C8 Specs Review, Price and Where to buy

After seeing what the China based OEM (OUKITEL) did with the amazing bezel-less Oukitel Mix 2, we are left with the notion that the newly released Oukitel C8 will break bounds too as it comes with a full view display and other amazing features.

The device is in the class of budget smartphones that come at an unbelievably low price tag yet sport classic and top quality features. If you need to buy a decent Android smartphone that can get things done, and you are on a low budget, then the Oukitel C8 is what you need.

Let’s dive right in.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

Oukitel C8

The Oukitel C8 comes in a premium glossy body made from metal and plastic. Also, the curved edges of the device gives it an additional touch of class. The device has dimension of 70.6 mm x 147.0 mm x 10.2 mm and weighs only 156 grams together with the built-in battery.

The screen is sized 5.5 inches Full HD display and has a display resolution and pixel density of 1280 x 640 pixels and 260 ppi respectively. The device however lacks any display protection and this increases the fragility. As an alternative, an external glass screen protector can be used to guard the screen against dust and from shattering when against hard surfaces.

PROCESSOR OS AND STORAGE

Powering the Oukitel C8 is MediaTek’s  MT6737 System-on-Chip alongside a Quad-core Cortex-A53 ARM processor that runs at a speed of 1.3 GHz. The device comes with a total of 2GB RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage capacity. There is a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion up to 32 GB.

Regarding operating system, the Oukitel C8 comes out of the box with the Android v7.0 Nougat OS.

CAMERA AND BATTERY

Oukitel C8

Both optical sensors (front and back) of the Oukitel C8 will provide the best of image quality as they both are accompanied by a LED flash light for sufficient lightening during image capture.

The primary camera on the rear is an 8 Megapixels sensor, while that up front is fixed at 2 Megapixels.

The battery capacity of the Oukitel C8 is a decent 3,000 mAh. The battery is made of Lithium Ion and interesting is the fact that the battery is removable and replaceable. This gives you room to own a spare battery and swap whenever you run out on battery power on the Oukitel C8.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The Oukitel C8 is one of the few smartphone with premium specifications that come in at a price less than $100.

Depending on store of purchase and location, the device costs between $79 to $90. But on GearBest, the device is available at an affordable and discounted price of $74 only! In local currency, that’s about N25,000.
