Panasonic Eluga U3 Specs Review, Triple Camera, 13MP Main Camera

The Panasonic Eluga U3 is a power 4G Android smartphone which proves to the world what the company is up to. The phone arrived in the month of June 2019 and it comes as a mid-range Android smartphone. We love it most for racking up 3G of RAM and that’s amazing because it is the only smartphone with that RAM for sale right now in 2024. Let’s examine how good and how bad the smartphone really is in the short review below.

Design and Display of Panasonic Eluga U3

Panasonic Eluga U3 is made of plastic but the phone looks beautiful anyway. This phone, having dimensions of 73.8 x 155 x 8.15 mm, weighs specs is a little bit sketchy. It is not a water resistant smartphone but as usual, comes with display protection, and there are black and blue colors to choose from.

The display type is HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen glass. The size is 6.26 inches which is not a bad idea as large hands would love this size. Interestingly, the resolution is the common 720 x 1520 pixels. Furthermore, there are 16 million colors. Pixel density is 270 ppi, and still the aspect ratio is 19.5:9.

Camera Features

Now, Panasonic Eluga U3 is a three-camera smartphone. The ones at the rear are known as the primary 13 MP and another 2 MP it is able to produce videos of 1080p. Flash capacity is dual LED and there also other good features like the auto focus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, face detection, geotagging, HDR, panorama and more. The front camera for selfies is 8 MP and it also has moderately good features.

Hardware and Software

The chipset inside the Panasonic Eluga U3 is Unisoc SC9863A, having process technology of 28nm, while the CPU is Octa-core 1.6 GHz with 64-bit architecture. The GPU meant for good graphic works is PowerVR GE8322. This mobile device is Android 9.0 Pie powered mobile device and we love it that way.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The space for storage in Panasonic Eluga U3 is very much at par with the pricing. 3GB of RAM that can’t be expanded is also accompanied by internal storage of 64GB. However, there is additional external storage space available for those who still want more space. The user can mount a microSD card in order to do this. It is possible for the user to add 128GB external storage. Sensors in this device are proximity, light, accelerometer, and fingerprint. The fingerprint is situated to the rear.

Network and Connectivity

This Panasonic Eluga U3 is a 4G Android phone devoid of NFC and infrared technology.  It makes use of nano SIMs and there are two of them which also able to handle 2G, 3G, and 4G internet. They both work on GSM, HSPA, and LTE.

Battery Power

Powering the Panasonic Eluga U3 is a non-removable Li-Po 3500 mAh battery. This mobile device has no wireless charging but it has fast charging technology. The smartphone has been designed to last for a reasonable time as the user makes use of it without charging. However, for the features listed above, it would be nice if it has been 4000 mAh.

Pros

  • Latest OS
  • Fingerprint security
  • Good Memory capacity
  • Nice cameras

Cons

  • Lack of various colors to choose from
  • Battery should have been more powerful

Price and Availability

Panasonic Eluga U3 smartphone official price is approximately $170.  But hey, we can’t guarantee that you will find it exactly that price should you must buy it. This phone is quite available as it has already been released in June 2019 and by now is already in smartphone shops worldwide.
