The two smartphones are especially for those with low budget as they offer average specifications and other great features which include a fingerprint scanner, impressive dual rear cameras, and others. Just as the name implies, the Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro is the advanced version of the Panasonic Eluga X1 smartphone. So they both sport similar design and other features.
On the back, they are built with Stainless Steel premium material you will find on the new iPhones. Looking classic, they pack a dual camera on the back and an LED flash with a fingerprint scanner for security. Shifting to the sides, they measure the same 75.5 mm x 155 mm x 7.85 mm body dimensions and they have 195 gram in weight. Both phones are available in Silver and Gray colors and they are blessed with a notch on the front that house the selfies camera.

On the front, the two mid-range smartphone offers a large screen size that measures 6.18 inches FHD+ under IPS capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2246 Pixels. They have 403 pixels per inch density which is perfect for the screen and it’s also covered with 2.5D curved glass and a corning gorilla glass 3. They have the same screen to body ratio of 82.5%.

On the front, they offer an impressive front facing camera of 16 Megapixels with Face recognition as an added security feature.

They have ARM Mali G72 MP3 in charge of graphics and they are powered by Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. In terms of storage, the Panasonic Eluga X1 has 4GB of RAM with internal memory of 64GB which is expandable, while the Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro has an upgraded 6GB of RAM with onboard storage of 128GB which is also expandable.

Both phones have the same battery capacity of 3000 mAh with fast charging technology and Type-C USB v2.0 with OTG. The Panasonic Eluga X1 will cost around 300 EUR, while the Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro will sell at a price of 350 EUR.

Our Verdict:

Both phones come in similar design and hardware, the only differences are on the storage, where the Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro has a huge 6GB RAM and a generous inbuilt memory of 128GB which is expandable. So you will only need to pay additional money to get the bigger model that packs huge memory. Settling for the normal variant with 4GB + 64GB is not a bad idea since it’s more affordable.
