Redmi preparing abundant stocks for Snapdragon 855 flagship

According to reports, the Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi is about to launch a flagship device with Snapdragon 855 soon. The general manager of Xiaomi, Lu Weibing, continues to tease the new device on Weibo. Just after revealing the pop-up camera and other details of Redmi flagship device under the limelight, today he tells some information about the availability of the device.

While answering a question about the availability of the upcoming flagship device by Redmi, Lu Weibing answers saying that Redmi is preparing enough stock of the device. Just like the spot sale of the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China, we think Redmi would make similar activities for their upcoming flagship. It also seems Redmi has made preparations to tackle issues with availability.

The upcoming flagship phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. This would make it the cheapest phone in the world powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. The phone will be faced with competition from other devices like Xiaomi Mi 9, Lenovo Z6 Pro, Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 855, Samsung Galaxy S10 series, Sony Xperia 1 and other high-end devices.

According to reports, the phone will come with NFC which will facilitate easy payments using the phone. The phone also features a 3.5 mm audio jack and a triple camera setup on it’s rear including a 48 MP primary sensor + 8 MP + 13 MP camera.

The phone will not feature a notch or punch hole design on its display. Instead, the phone will feature a pop-up camera module with a 32 MP selfie shooter. The phone will also feature a better screen-to-body ratio and slim bezels on the front. Redmi is expected to launch the phone in May or June.

A leak recently surfaced which also pulled the wraps-off from a Redmi smartphone which is powered by the Snapdragon 730. The phone is also in the works and it also sports a similar pop-up selfie camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, notch-less display and much more.
