Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Home, its first smart speaker equipped with the voice assistant Bixby and equipped with all the features that allow it to integrate into the SmartThings ecosystem. Galaxy Home will be officially presented during the next Samsung Developer Conference, however, Samsung took the opportunity to unveil some details around its next product.
Equipped with 6 powerful speakers and 8 microphones, Galaxy Home is a device designed to offer a high-quality music experience and all the potential of Bixby, thanks to the ability to recognize the user’s voice even when it is not near of the device. During the presentation, 160 Galaxy Home were used to demonstrate the high quality of the speaker – also realized with the support of AKG – however, we should wait a few more months to find out all the details related to this new product.
A lot of talks have been going around on social media about the design of this new gadget from Samsung, with many people saying it looks like a local African cooking pot, and therefore Samsung should give special honor to the Africans. 🙂
