Samsung Mobile are now rolling out its second-generation edition of Galaxy A smartphone series for 2016 ranging from Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016).

The new Galaxy A3 (2016) shares several similarities with the bigger Galaxy A5 (2016), but comes with a lower-capacity battery, lower RAM and performance compared with the Galaxy A5 (2016).

The new Samsung design spots a new style of all-metal unibody and glass to give the smartphones a premium look. It is thicker now at 7.3 millimetres and also heavier at 132 grams.
The new Galaxy A3 (2016) smartphone screen dimension has been increased from 4.5 inches, up to 4.7 inches HD screen and comes with an improved HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels for more immersive viewing experience.
Coming to the camera front, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) now packs 13 MP camera, compared to 8 MP in the first Galaxy A3, while the 5MP front snapper stays the same. The main snapper features LED Flash, Autofocus, Geo-tagging, Face Detection and Panorama. The primary camera can be used to record Full HD (1080p) videos at 30 frames per.
You get onboard storage of 16GB on your Galaxy A3 (2016) for your pictures, videos and other files. Storage capacity can be extended further by up to 128 GB using a microSD card.
It runs a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB storage space (expandable up to 128GB). The camera specs are the same as the A7 and the A5.
A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor still powers the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016), similar to that seen on its predecessor, but is designed to run at a higher speed of 1.5 GHz. The chipset is accomplished with a RAM of 1.5GB for decent performance.
The smartphone boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS – a noteworthy improvement on the 4.4 KitKat OS on its predecessor.
The Galaxy A3 (2016) is equipped with a significantly larger 2300mAh battery, which most certainly improves on the 15 hours of talk time offered by the 1900mAh juicer on its predecessor.
Galaxy A3 (2016) does not have support for Samsung Pay or a fingerprint scanner. It supports Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, and comes with dual-SIM option.
Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1, ANT+, USB 2.0, NFC (UICC). Sensors on the Galaxy A3 are Accelerometer, proximity, geomagnetic, RGB Light, Hall.
