Samsung is doing wonders in this year 2019. The company has lined up various powerful smartphones and now, one of them, known as Samsung Galaxy Fold has been announced and prospective buyers are encouraged to wait till April in order to buy it. How good is the phone?

You won’t easily believe when you see that the device is more than 7 inches large at the display. Yet it comes with the superior quality of Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. So, here, you also think of five cameras, three to the rear, two to the front.

Camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, manual mode, EIS, smart OIS, HDR, and others.

Hardware & Software

Further, Samsung Galaxy Fold also sports Android OS v9.0 Pie as the operating system. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which comes with 7nm process technology, and 64-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is Octa-core Kryo 485, and the GPU is Adreno 640.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Fold is entitled to 12GB of RAM that cannot be expanded. Card slot can enable increase up to 512GB with a microSD. There are seven sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, compass, gyro, light, fingerprint, and face recognition.

Network and Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is supported by GSM, HSPA and LTE, (optional single SIM) so it is having 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G for internet connectivity and other uses. This makes the device a 5G compliant mobile device that has dual nano SIM card slot.

Expectedly, network supports of the device are Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, NFC, headphone jack and USB v3.1. Evidently, there is no infrared and HDMI in the device.

Battery Life of Samsung Galaxy Fold

The battery of the phone is a good one at a Li-Po 4380 mAh non-removable that has no wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are not specified herein.
