Despite the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the last phablet of the Korean house has been a success, thanks to its hardware features that have a battery with large capacity and a renewed S Pen, unfortunately, this is not free from small common problems to which luckily there are quick solutions. Let’s see which ones!
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 – quick solutions to common problems
The S Pen does not work remotely
One of the features that characterize the series of which the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is part, is precisely the S Pen, with new features in its latest version, including the possibility of using it as a remote control, through the built-in button. This is obviously possible thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity between the pen and the device, but this is not always all smooth.
If suddenly the S Pen stops working, here are the possible solutions.
Solution 1
If you can not use the S Pen of your Samsung Galaxy Note 9, this may simply be because the remote mode has been accidentally deactivated via software. You just have to check, going to Settings > Advanced Functions> S Pen> S Pen Remote by activating the relative toggle afterward.
Solution 2
Another cause could be the sudden disconnection of the S Pen. To reconnect it, always go to the settings of the Samsung Galaxy S9, up to the Advanced Functions> S Pen> S Pen Remote and tapping the three points in the upper right corner, select the Reset S Pen. Then follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect it to the device.
The battery of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has less autonomy than expected
Despite the battery of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with a capacity of 4000mAh, this does not seem to be reflected in the autonomy of the device, which will still be able to bring you to the end of the day, but without being able to go further.
If you have problems such as overheating or abnormal energy consumption, the cause could be due to some very energy-intensive and poorly optimized apps. You can monitor this by going to the Settings> Device Maintenance> Battery section. Scrolling in the screen, you can check the consumption of each app and intervene accordingly, uninstalling or deactivating the one of interest.
Charging the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 takes longer than expected
One of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 battery problems you may have encountered is the slower charging speed than usual. If the charging time is extended abnormally, we suggest you to check the charger. The best thing to do, of course, is always to use the charger provided in the package, as it can also take advantage of Samsung’s fast adaptive charging.
If the problem occurs with the original charger, the thing to do is, of course, to contact the assistance in order to replace the accessory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 crashes and does not respond
Although in a device the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, there are rare phenomena of crash and non-responsiveness of the interface, you must be prepared for this event. When the smartphone is locked, there is no possibility to switch it off forcibly due to the built-in battery, but it can be restarted by pressing the Vol – and Power buttons at the same time.
Release them as soon as you see the device logo appear on the screen. After that, your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be back working again.
