So let’s consider which of these phones carry the winning ticket – Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or Galaxy S9? Remember that both phones are big in their own ways.
Consider Pricing
Maybe we should have ended with the pricing of both phones but let’s start with that as it will help shape the reason you go for one or the other. Secondly, the price is at the top of what many people consider when buying a smartphone.
Regardless of where you buy it, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is $1,000 to $1,250 about $180 more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S9. Go to the online smartphone store and you will find that Samsung Galaxy S9 sells from $820. Samsung Galaxy S9 price starts from $720.
Here the question is – What extra features will make one go for a smartphone that is more than $100 more expensive? Those features must be worth it! If money isn’t an issue, anything goes then. Let’s consider some of the differences in both devices.
Where is Note 9 Bigger?
Instead of looking at all the features and specifications of both phones, let’s look only in the areas where there are differences in both devices.
Battery Power: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has the power of 4000mAh which is considerably bigger than that of Samsung Galaxy S9, in fact, at least more than 10 percent.
Storage Capacity: Note 9 is bigger here too. You can buy additional 512GB internal storage for it and this is double what you can buy for Galaxy S9. On Galaxy Note 9, you are able to get a tremendous 1TB and over in storage capacity which is staggering for especially someone who doesn’t do much with his smartphone.
The S Pen: Wow! This is where the magic lies. Samsung Galaxy S9 doesn’t have the same feature when using this on Note 9. It also makes the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 so important to people. They spend time trying to discover new and amazing things they can do with the S Pen and the opportunities seem endless.
Camera and Display Features: Nothing much to mention here because there are no marked differences. Galaxy S9 is only smaller by 0.2 inches to Note 9. The camera features minor changes in the setup which don’t really count.
