Samsung Galaxy On6 is finally official. The new smartphone of the South Korean giant has been launched on the Indian market, but it is likely that Samsung will decide to sell it soon also in Europe.
The latest model in the Galaxy On smartphone series sports design with Infinity Display that offers 15% more display area without increasing the overall size. As revealed by the same company, the smartphone is specifically dedicated to young people and is characterized by very thin frames, a display with a ratio of 18.5 – 9 and a camera with LED flash. The new smartphone, Samsung Galaxy On6, is able to compete with very popular phones in recent weeks, such as the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Realme 1 of Oppo.
Samsung Galaxy On6 is a dual-SIM phone that has an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The phone is equipped with a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED HD + display (720 × 1480 pixels) with an 18.5 – 9 aspect ratio and 293ppi pixel density. The smartphone is also equipped with an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, combined with a Mali T830 MP1 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. On the back of the device there is a sensor for 13-megapixel camera equipped with LED flash, which supports functions like an animated GIF, Beauty Face, Best Photo, Face Detection, Food, HDR, Panorama, and Sport.
On the front, we find instead an 8-megapixel camera sensor, also with an LED flash. Both the rear and front camera sensors are combined with a lens with f / 1.9 aperture. Also, the front camera also features an unlock function via face recognition.
Samsung has provided 32 GB of integrated memory on the Galaxy On6 expandable via microSD card (up to 256 GB). The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a fingerprint sensor. In addition, the handset is equipped with a 3000mAh battery.
The price of Samsung Galaxy On6 was set at 14.490 rupees, equal to about 181 euros. It will be marketed starting Thursday, July 5th.
