Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is official – let’s find out the complete specs

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

Samsung presents Galaxy Tab S5e, the entertainment tablet equipped with Bixby 2.0.

It is a very thin tablet (only 5.5 mm thick), light (400 grams) and therefore very portable.

Designed for connectivity and entertainment, Galaxy Tab S5e is “a premium tablet with an elegant design and powerful functionality, accessible to all,” to directly quote DJ Koh, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics’ IT & Mobile Communications division.

Galaxy Tab S5e is built in metal and suitable to “perfectly integrate into every lifestyle,” thanks to the range of modern colors Silver, Black, and Gold.

It is the first Samsung tablet equipped with the new Bixby 2.0 and can be used as a hub to control smart home devices.

The possibility of combining the keyboard cover sold separately, and Samsung DeX, combined with the Continuity function to answer calls and messages on the phone, make it a versatile device that can be used in “360 degrees”.

The 10.5-inch edge-to-edge display has frames reduced to a minimum, occupies 81.8% of the front surface, and is accompanied by 4 AKG speakers to allow users to enjoy the content in the best possible way.

The audio segment is very nice- Galaxy Tab S5e incorporates stereo technology with an automatic rotation that adapts to the orientation of the tablet, integrates Dolby Atmos and AKG audio optimizations for an immersive 3D sound.

The hardware equipment includes an octa-core Snapdragon 670 processor, flanked by 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards up to 512 GB.

For the two cameras, 13 and 8-megapixel sensors were chosen, combined with lenses with f / 2.0 aperture.

The connectivity is guaranteed by 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and Galileo. There are also the USB 3.1 Type-C port, the fingerprint reader on the right side (under the power button) and the POGO pins for the connection of the optional accessories (keyboard and charging base).

The battery has a capacity of 7,040 mAh and offers a range of up to 14.5 hours.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e opinions and opinions

The machine itself is really good, but the cost makes it a bit out of budget for many users, especially considering that we are talking about an Android tablet anyway.

A very beautiful, powerful, versatile, cared for and elegant product.

Too bad that with the same money you buy a PC with Windows, much more customizable and complete in terms of functionality, but certainly not so nice.

A product “for a few”, but that is undoubtedly beautiful, very elegant and comfortable to always carry around. Perfect for entertainment at home and away from home and also for work on the move.

I also regret that there is no support for a pen and that the processor is mid-range and not top-rated. Too bad even for the absence of the audio jack for headphones.
