Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus has shared the first official teaser for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. According to him, the upcoming flagship device is “Fast and Smooth”.

There isn’t much information in the teaser but we can see a part of the phone. Since the screen of the phone is curved, we are guessing it is the OnePlus 7 Pro.

According to reports, OnePlus will launch three variants of its next flagship. Reports say that the OnePlus 7 itself features a flat back while the Pro version features a larger display which is curved. OnePlus is also expected to launch a 5G variant of the phone.

While OnePlus isn’t revealing very much info in terms of features, a leaker has revealed more details on the upcoming device.

In a tweet, Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) said that the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a Quad HD+ display which will be the highest resolution a OnePlus device has ever featured. The panel will be Super AMOLED with a refresh rate of 90Hz according to the leaker.

Many phones (including flagship) have a 60Hz refresh rate. This means that the OnePlus 7 Pro will be able to display animations and overall interactions smoother.

In the tweet, he also revealed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a triple camera setup on its rear including a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera for zoom. It will also have stereo speakers, support for USB 3.1, and pack a 4,000mAh battery with Warp Charge 30.

Another exciting feature is the bigger battery which the phone packs. With warp Charge 30, charging the phone should be much quicker.

According to rumors, the OnePlus 7 and its siblings will be launched on May 14. Although OnePlus itself hasn’t confirmed this, the source is quite reliable.
