- Turn Off Your Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+.
- Boot your Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ to Download Mode by Pressing and Holding the Bixby Button, Power Button, and Volume Down Button all at the same time till you see a warning.
- Unzip and Run Odin As Administrator on your PC and leave it open.
Now Connect Your Phone to your PC using a USB Cable and Launch Odin.
If your PC detects your phone then ID:COM on Odin will change color. (If your PC does not recognize your phone then you probably didn’t install the driver’s properly, you would need to reinstall it again)
Unzip the Firmware you downloaded for your particular device and you will see three files in it.
Go Back to Odin and Click on BL and Select the File that starts with BL from the firmware you just unzipped. Do the same for AP and CL.

Odin will now flash your Phone with the firmware. Be patient while it does. (This will take some time)
Your Phone will reboot after successfully flashing the firmware.

Turn Off your phone again.
Now Boot Into Recovery Mode by Pressing and Holding the Power Button, Bixby Button, and Volume Up Button Simultaneously until you see the Android Logo or it Vibrates.
Using the Volume Up and Volume Down Buttons, Navigate to Apply Update From SD Card and Select it using the Power Button.
Select the Update File in Zip Format which was moved earlier to SD Card.
Wait for the update progress to be completed and Reboot your Device.
Voila, Your phone is now running Android 8.0 Oreo.
You can now set up and enjoy your Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+running Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.0 UI on top.
