Rugged smartphone SNOPOW M10W is now officially available for sale on shopping stores. The strong device is an update to the M10 from SNOPOW coming with a more solid body and other quality features. It was launched on the 20th of February to celebrate the winter season.

Design
You know a rugged device when you see one, but trust me the M10W is not your average rugged device. It’s more solid than you think, sports a Polycarbonate overall unibody. The body can survive a drop test from about 3 storeys. It’s IP68 certified, off dust, water and scratch resistant. Cover up the SNOPOW in snow for 30 minutes and nothing will happen to it.
A single rear camera and LED is visible at the back, the SNOPOW logo is at the bottom corner. A rear loudspeaker is spotted to the left of the logo, while the “IP-68” engraving is visible at the back to let you know how strong it is. To the sides, it measures 22 mm slim which is really bulky, it weighs 337g making it one of the most heaviest smartphone.
Display
It sports lots of bezels just like every other rugged device. The bezels pretty much annoying but they protect the screen quite well. It sports four navigation buttons at the bottom bezel. While dual selfie camera, ambient light sensor and speaker is at the top.
The 5-inch FHD IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen boasts of a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The portable screen displays stunning visuals no doubt with pixel per inch density of up to 440.58. Disappointingly, it reaches a screen to body ratio of 47.69%.
Hardware and Software
Behind this solid beast is a MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 chipset with Octa-core processor. The processor reaches a clock speed of 2.4 GHz, boasts of a 64-bit CPU architecture and 16nm process technology. The Mali-T880 MP2 graphics processor is in charge of everything graphics and clocks at 900MHz.
There’s a massive 6GB of RAM space available for heavy multitasking with a memory speed of 1.6 GHz. 64GB storage space is also ready to accommodate all your files and games. You can upgrade up to 128GB as well, using a memory card. The M10W runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
A single 16MP camera at the back captures 4K resolution images. The camera comes with a LED flash for low light environments and takes photographs of 4608 x 3456 pixels in dimension. The 8MP + 8MP selfie camera takes the most stunning selfies. The front cameras doesn’t come with a LED flash so you might need good lighting to take those quality selfies. However the front shooters has the iris scanner technology, you can also record videos of 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Battery
Powering the SNOPOW M10W up is 6500mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology support. Even with the fast charging feature, it will take between 3-4 hours to charge the phone from 0% to 100%.
