An error programmed to pop up on your TV screen once your DSTV or GOTV subscription is expired.

Using the internet, you can clear the E16 error with your mobile device or laptop. Visit the DSTV Self Service Portal.
- Go to the DSTV Self-service portal
- Enter your 10 digit Smart card number, choose the type of error you want to clear.
- Fill the captcha code then click “Clear Error.”

CLEAR VIA SMS
Just have to use your mobile phone and send an SMS to 4688.
Example- RESET 1005702599 to 4688 (1005702599 is the IUC Number located on the red label under the decoder.)
Please before sending the SMS check if you have an active subscription and make sure you send it during Active hours (7 am – 6 pm)
GOTV CUSTOMER CARE

- Enter your IUC Number.
