SongCatcher – Deezer Launches Music Identification Feature

Deezer has just released its own song recognition feature, SongCatcher. With the news, listeners of the streaming platform gain a new way to meet new artists and songs.

SongCatcher was developed by ACRCloud and is now available in beta mode for some users. The new feature quickly identifies unknown tracks within the application, with the use of the search button only, with the possibility of including discoveries in playlists or favorite songs.

“Deezer SongCatcher is something our product team has been working on for some time, as we recognize that there is a clear demand from music fans who want to discover the name of a new band or an unknown artist when they are listening to music. now has proven to be very positive and we are excited to be able to officially announce the release of the Deezer SongCatcher app for music fans around the world, “said Deezer Executive Director of Products and Content Alexander Holland.

The official version of SongCatcher should be released to all Premium + users, primarily for Android and future for iOS.
