Swipe Elite Star budget smartphone with 4-inch Display & 1.5GHz processor launched – Specs & Price

Swipe Technologies has launched its latest smartphone dubbed the Swipe Elite Star. The phone is powered by the Android OS in combination with Indus operating system. The Elite Star comes with a feature known as transliteration which helps to translate languages by swiping left and right. The Swipe Star supports 4G VoLTE and features other interesting specifications.

The Swipe Elite Star comes with a 4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 * 800 pixels (WVGA). The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, it has 1GB of RAM and an 8GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded to 32GB via microSD card.

As for the camera, the Swipe Elite Star packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 1.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and an indigenous Indus operating system.  The phone packs a 2000mAh non-removable battery and measures 125.50 * 64.60 * 10.60 mm.

The Swipe Elite Star is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro SIMs and Nano SIMs. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor and Accelerometer.
