Design
It’s blatantly obvious the F2 looks exactly like the F1 in terms of design. Coming with the same removable Plastic body, with no fingerprint scanner in sight. The rear camera and dual-LED flash are also in the same position no doubt.
The simple looking device should be very easy to hold and operate, due to its compactness. Although it measures 9.7mm in thickness, which might be a little too bulky for some users. The F2 will be available in Champagne Gold, Ice Blue, Dark Blue and Elegant Black colors as well.
Display
Not just the back, the front looks the same as well, with lots of bezels. The bottom bezel houses the usual three navigation buttons, while the top houses the selfie camera, front LED flash, speaker grille and sensors.
The 5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen won’t be doing any magic here. It has a resolution of just 854 x 480 pixels, displaying standard visuals that’s clear enough for users but not in high quality obviously. The phone comes with a Split-Screen feature, that lets you watch movies while chatting.

Hardware and Software
Behind the screen is a Mediatek chip with quad-core processor and 32-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor reaches the normal clock speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology for a “speedy” performance, according to the company.
A bigger 1GB RAM is available here for multitasking and to run the Split-screen feature as well. A standard 8GB storage space is available to accommodate all files, you can upgrade up to 32GB with a memory card. The Tecno F2 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system with HiOS.
Camera
The 5MP rear shooter with dual-LED flash by its side is ready to handle everything photography. The camera comes with lots of quality features like autofocus, touch focus, digital zoom and the rest. Videos of 720 pixels can be recorded at 30 frames per second, the 2MP selfie camera boasts of a soft LED flash as well for taking natural looking selfies.

Battery
Powering the Tecno F2 is a 2000mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
