Android 10 operating system is here. But it will not come to all smartphones directly. Samsung for example doesn’t feel a need for Android 10 in its devices for now. However, Google Pixel phones are having the beta edition on them right now. So, on the following list you have Android phone manufacturers who will be infusing Android 10 OS to their phones this.
Xiaomi
Yes, the company takes Android 10 very seriously and had two of its devices involved in beta testing of the operating system. Eight editions of Xiaomi phones will be having the operating system by the fourth quarter of 2019. They are Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, Mi 8, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Mix 3, and Mi MIX 3 5G. Surely, some other Xiaomi phones will also receive this update but the timeframe hasn’t been stated yet.
Asus
Asus also had a phone test out the beta of this new operating system and the company is having the real thing come to at least the Asus Zenfone 5Z and the Zenfone 6.
Huawei
The company has confirmed that at least one of its phones will do this update soon. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been approved to get the real Android 10. Well, we all know the company is having great challenges with the tension still in the air with Trump, but the company says the following smartphones will also be in line for upgrade to Android 10- P30 Pro, P30, P30 Lite, Mate 20, Porsche Design Mate 20 RS, Porsche Design Mate 10, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 X 5G, P20 Pro, P20, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10, P Smart 2019, P Smart+ 2019, and P Smart Z.
Honor
Honor has also confirmed that the OS will come to the following phones- Honor 20 Lite, Honor 20, and Honor 20 Pro.
Nokia
This company has a good record of updating its phones firmware. The company has also made the most transition to Android Pie more than any company has. We believe the company will be quick to upgrade the following phones to the latest OS- Nokia 8.1, 9, 7.1, 7 Plus, 6.1, 6.1 Plus, 4.2, 3.2, 3.1 Plus, 2.2, 8 Sirocco, 5.1, 1 Plus, 1, 3.1, and 2.1.
Vivo
This company had a few phones test out the Android 10 beta and as such we believe that it will get updates on the following phones at the end of the year- Vivo NEX S, X27, and NEX A.
Sony
This company has a bad record with updating operating systems. However, it also has Sony Xperia XZ3 on the beta testing and it is expected that the phone will continue with the real OS shall the time come for it.
LG
LG too had a part with the beta testing. It is also a company bad for moving up to new operating systems. But sing the LG G8 is in beta, it will surely carry on to the end. There may be other phones from the company to tow the line too but we can’t confirm that now.
Conclusion
Here goes the list of the phones that will soon get the Android 10. I have omitted Pixel phones because Google will automatically make the operating system available for them. It is good to note that not all Android phones will update to Android 10.
