It’s in the same category with the newly introduced Umidigi A3 which was launched as a copycat to the new iPhones. The Umidigi A3 is the successor of the Umidigi A1 Pro and it also has a beautiful body design and average specifications. On the body, the Umidigi A1 is built with the combination of metal and glass. The back is made of metal, while the front is designed with glass. The handset measures 5.71 in x 2.72 in x 0.33 in dimensions and it weighs 173 gram, while the Umidigi A3 measures 70.2 mm x 147.19 mm x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weight 186 gram. Both phones are powered by Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and they have the same PowerVR GE8100, 570MHz for graphics. On the storage, the Umidigi A1 Pro has 3GB of RAM with 16GB of internal memory, while the Umidigi A3 has 2GB of RAM with inbuilt storage of 16GB. You can still expand the memory with micro SD card and they also support 4G LTE connectivity.

Our Verdict:

They are the same phone with the same hardware and specifications. So it’s only but natural that they will offer the same performance to users. The Umidigi A1 Pro has an edge on the RAM but in real life, you will hardly notice the difference. So they are cool and affordable phones to buy.  Looking on the design, the Umidigi A1 Pro is original, while the Umidigi A3 copy the iPhone X but still looks stunning than it’s rival, so my pick is the Umidigi A3 smartphone.
