Umidigi F3 has been announced since November 2018 but it was released in the month of January 2019. It is a good phone, came with Android 9 Pie, a large enough screen and RAM space that can help you to do anything you want to, and also very good selfie camera; up to 20 MP!
No doubt, this is one of the very first high quality Android Pie phones rolled out in 2024. Kudos to Umidigi for producing such a product at the right time. Design and Display of Umidigi F3
The body design of this smartphone is plastic and metal combined. Dimensions and weight specs are not known. It comes in pink and purple colors. However, this phone is not a water resistant device but it has face recognition technology.
At the front it sports a 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, which comes without a secondary display. Further, it comes with 2340 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution. Pixel density is 402 ppi, 86 percent screen to body ratio, and it is scratch resistant.
Camera Features
There is a single primary camera of 16 MP plus 8 MP at the rear of the device. It comes with LED flash. Further, there is also 20 MP which comes without led flash. The video performance is 1080p@30fps FHD recording option.
Camera features include geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, exposure compensation, HDR and much more.
Hardware and Software Umidigi F3
Android OS v9.0 Pie is the operating system in the device. In addition, MediaTek Helio P60 chipset is found herein and it works with 12nm process technology, and 64-architecture, CPU is 2.0 GHz Octa-core, while the GPU is Mali G72 MP3.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
The memory of the phone is 6GB of RAM which cannot be expanded. Further, there is also a 64GB internal storage in the device. It is possible to increase internal storage space externally to 256GB with micro-SD card. Accelerometer, fingerprint, proximity, ambient light, compass, and gyroscope are the sensors found in the device.
Network and Connectivity
Supported network in Umidigi F3 are GSM, WCDMA, and LTE. That makes it a 4G device. To make things better, there is provision for two nano SIM card slots.
Other connectivity components are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0 Type C. However, there is no infrared, NFC, and no HDMI in this device.
Battery Life Umidigi F3
Battery power of this device is a Li-Ion 5100 mAh removable battery that does not have wireless charging but has fast charging technology. Standby time and talk time are 180 hours and 8 hours respectively.
Price and Availability
Evidently, Umidigi F3 price is not fixed and you may be able to purchase it for $245 USD. But you can look for the best price of the phone in your country online. Surely, the device is very much available in the market because it has been released earlier in January 2019.
