UMIDIGI S2 Pro Specs Review, Price and Where to buy

Remember the UMIDIGI S2? The flagship from UMIDIGI that launched with massive 4GB of RAM and massive 5,100 mAh battery with an unbelievable 2 day battery life. Another interesting thing about the device is the price. Coming in at about $198, the UMIDIGI S2 was and is one of the top quality smartphone little money could get you.

The UMIDIGI S2 now has a bigger sibling, and it comes at an affordable price too.

The UMIDIGI S2 Pro comes in the same form, body build, design, and appearance as the UMIDIGI S2. The device is all covered in metal and is available in Red and Black colours like the S2 but comes in a new and beautiful silver colour option.

The UMIDIGI S2 Pro retains the 6.0 inches IPS screen size and type of the UMIDIGI S2. The display quality have however been beefed up as the UMIDIGI S2 Pro display is Full HD+, has an increased resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an almost doubled pixel density (403 ppi).

The curved screen of the device is tough and scratch resistant – thanks to the Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

UMIDIGI made sure to bring new features (that the S2 lacked) aboard the UMIDIGI S2 Pro. They include a better MediaTek Helio P25 System-on-Chip, a faster 2.6 GHz Octa-Core processor and bigger RAM size (6GB). This would ensure faster and sleeker operations on the UMIDIGI S2 Pro.

The device has 64GB of built-in storage to handle file storage and runs on the Android v7.0 Nougat operating system. The second SIM card slot can be alternated as the memory card slot for expansion up to 256GB.

Under these two departments, there weren’t really any upgrades made. The UMIDIGI S2 Pro comes with two lenses (13 MP + 5 MP) both manufactured by SONY and accompanied by Quad LED flash light.

On the front, the quality of the lens in charge of taking selfies still remains 5 Megapixels.

When it comes to the battery, UMIDIGI prides the S2 Pro as a device that can have up to 2 days of usage time. Thanks to the heavy-duty and fast charging 5,100 mAh battery.

This monster device, the UMIDIGI S2 Pro is globally available for purchase and costs between $330 to $350 across various online stores.
