UMIDIGI S2 Design

The design of the UMIDIGI S2 is really striking, as it enjoys a Unibody made of an aluminum alloy with quite elegant curves. Seen from the front, it is really beautiful, with a 90% body – screen ratio, there is no doubt that UMIDIGI has done a good job. It has a dimensions of 15.81 x 7.46 x 0.88 cm and an average weight of 186 grams.

The S2 has an eight-core Helio P20 Mediatek Chip operating at a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. For its part, the Pro version is a bit more powerful, with a Helio P25 Octa – Core that clocks up to 2.5 GHz and with a combination of superior memory that incorporates 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. Both devices have the ability to expand their memory using a micro SD card up to 256 GB (which is not included in the package).

This smartphone features a dual rear camera with a 13 MP IMX258 primary sensor courtesy of Sony Exmor RS, accompanied by a 5 MP secondary and Quad LED flash. The front of the device is another lens of 5 MP that possesses great quality for the taking of selfies. It can record videos in 4K  and has PDAF focus.

The device has dual WiFi connectivity thanks to 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth version 4.0, GPS and all common sensors. Its operating system is Android Nougat 7.1.1 under the original customization layer of the manufacturer UMI GUI OS.
