Vivo iQOO 3 Pro 5G spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 865-like results

Vivo launched the Vivo iQOO 3 5G back in February this year and it came with the Snapdragon 865 SoC. There have been recent rumors lately that the company is gearing up to launch another smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset in the near future. The model was seen on Geekbench just recently and the result of the phone’s test is quite similar to other phones that are powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.

The phone model was tested with the name “vivo 2024A” and there are rumors that suggest that phone could be named as the iQOO 3 Pro 5G. The test also reveals that the phone is running on the “Kona” platform which we know to be a codename for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.

The test also reveals that the phone will run Android 10 out of the box as well as 8 GB of RAM. Since the phone sports higher specs than the Vivo iQOO 3, the vivo iQOO 3 Pro is a higher variant. We expect the phone to come with a design similar to its predecessor’s.

The vivo iQOO 3 comes with an HDR10+ compliant 6.44-inch S-AMOLED touchscreen display and it features a punch-hole design in the top right corner of the screen. The phone’s large display comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It also produces a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 800nits of full-screen brightness, and 100 percent P3 color gamut. Embedded below the display is a fingerprint sensor that is capable of unlocking in just 0.31 seconds. The design of the phone is quite exquisite as it features a rear glass panel that curves towards the edges. And we expect the vivo iQOO 3 Pro to be even better!
