Vivo V9 VS iPhone X – The Design

The design of both smartphones is obviously alike. While the Vivo V9 is taller and wider than the iPhone X. The iPhone X is slimmer measuring 7.7mm compared to the Vivo V9’s 7.9mm thickness. The Vivo V9 is very light in weight, it weighs just 150 grams. While the iPhone X weighs 174 grams that’s 24 grams heavier. The Vivo V9 comes in a front glass with an aluminum unibody. While the iPhone X comes in a front and back glass with aluminum frame. The Vivo V9 is a cheap alternative, so having a back glass isn’t that compulsory.

Apple decided to ditch the fingerprint sensor and instead introduced a sophisticated facial identification technology. While the Vivo V9 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. I think I prefer a smaller notch to a longer one.

The display resolution of the iPhone X is 1125 x 2436 pixels with 458 PPI density. While the Vivo V9 has a display resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels with 400 PPI density. They both have very little bezels with the iPhone X’s 19.5:9 aspect ratio and the Vivo V9’s 19:9 aspect ratio.

The Vivo V9 is a selfie-focused smartphone with a 24 megapixels shooter and f/2.0 aperture. There aren’t too many affordable smartphones with such selfie camera quality. The Vivo V9 packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3260 mAh battery. While the iPhone X packs a non-removable Li-Ion 2716 mAh battery. These are just mere numbers and don’t be surprised if the iPhone X last longer than the Vivo V9.
